Kevin Doyle (pictured) scored the match-winner at Wolverhampton Wanderers stunned Manchester United 2-1 at Molineux. Nani opened scoring for top of the table United before George Elokobi leveled terms on ten minutes. Doyle got the winner five minutes before half-time and Wolves held out for the famous victory. Still, Wolves are in twentieth place, two points from safety. As for United, their run of 29-consecutive unbeaten matches is over to the most unlikely of foes. But a shocking draw by Arsenal leaves United still four points clear at the top of the table.

Here are the rest of the scores from the highest scoring day in the history of the Premier League:

Stoke City 3 – Sunderland 2
Wigan Athletic 4 – Blackburn Rovers 3
Manchester City 3 – West Bromwich Albion 0
Aston Villa 2 – Fulham 2
Everton 5 – Blackpool 3
Newcastle United 4 – Arsenal 4
Tottenham Hotspur 2 – Bolton Wanderers 1

  1. Brilliant Wolves, and credit to you for keeping up the attack when you were ahead at the end. Beautiful game to watch. The fans were fantastic, and the players gave it their all, on both sides. It was a proper end to a non-loosing streak.
