After only six months on the job, Rafael Benítez has been sacked by Internazionale. Languishing in seventh place (albeit with two games in hand) and having won just one of their last five games in Serie A, the five-time defending league champions are in an unfamiliar position, particularly in relation to AC Milan. Benítez did lead Inter to the Club World Cup title just days ago, defeating Congolese side TP Mazembe, but that title is largely granted to Jose Mourinho, whose club last year won every trophy in Italy and Europe. This is the second job change in 2010 for Benítez who left Liverpool in the summer after a disastrous 2009/10 season on Merseyside.
