Alan Pardew was named manager of Newcastle United yesterday. The former Reading, West Ham, Charlton and Southampton manager will be in the dugout for the Liverpool match this weekend, replacing Chris Hughton at the helm. Frequently citing the notion that other managers consider him mad for taking a job with Mike Ashley, Pardew bravely took the money and hopes to improve upon Toon’s current eleventh place standing.
