draw

Four goals in the final eighteen minutes took a nil-nil affair between Aston Villa and Manchester United to a 2-2 draw. Ashley Young and Marc Albrighton scored in the 72nd and 76th minutes, giving the Villa faithful hope of a big win against the league’s second place side. Instead, Kiko Macheda scored on 81 minutes and Nemanja Vidić got the equalizer in the 85th. Losing the two-goal lead is a major disappointment for Villa, who would have moved into fifth place with all three points. The shared points leave Villa in sixth and move United to two points clear of Arsenal for second place, though the Gunners have not yet played their thirteenth game.
