The Premier League’s eleventh round features three massively important matches, all three of which take place on Sunday. Suddenly seventh place Newcastle will go to the Emirates and face Arsenal who are riding high in second place. The Gunners need three points to keep up but Toon will need to prove they can play with the better sides in the league to earn a European position. Likewise, Liverpool will host table-topping Chelsea at Anfield Road. The Reds have defeated Bolton and Blackburn to get out of the drop zone, so hosting the Blues will be quite a different experience. And finally Manchester City, losers of three-straight, will head to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion. The Baggies were frustrated to have two men sent off in the first half-hour away to Blackpool last weekend and will be looking to pick up points on clubs like City in the top seven. Roberto Mancini needs to fend off disaster for his Citizens, so the match should provide very interesting line-up decisions.

  1. Tottenham Hotspur @ Bolton Wanderers – spurs
Wolverhampton Wanderers @ Manchester United – united
Stoke City @ Sunderland – sunderland
Wigan Athletic @ Blackburn Rovers – rovers
West Ham United @ Birmingham City – birmingham
    Everton @ Blackpool – everton

Newcastle United @ Arsenal – gunners
Manchester City @ West Bromwich Albion – city
    Chelsea @ Liverpool – chelski

    I suck at this game

  2. Hopefully me making comments again will change my luck. As good as I was last season I am poor this season.

    Saturday:
Tottenham Hotspur @ Bolton Wanderers – Bolton – don’t know if it’s true but my perception is that Spurs blow after CL matches.
Wolverhampton Wanderers @ Manchester United – draw – I think Nani is a huge loss for United.
Stoke City @ Sunderland – Sunderland
Wigan Athletic @ Blackburn Rovers – Blackburn
West Ham United @ Birmingham City – City
Everton @ Blackpool – Everton – Blackpool is starting to become my 2nd favorite team in the EPL. I really like how they aren’t afraid to attack the big teams and just don’t sag back and defend…But Toffees are really hot right now.

    Sunday:
Newcastle United @ Arsenal – Arsenal – Gunners are a totally different team at home.
Manchester City @ West Bromwich Albion – Draw – Somewhere I read City haven’t won a match w/o Tevez in the lineup, or maybe that was in a dream.
Chelsea @ Liverpool – Pool – shocking but chelsea is somewhat vulnerable on the road and pool has been in decent form the last few weeks.

  3. I also want to mention that every time I watch van der vaart with the spurs, he makes a very large difference in their mid field play making. He finds passing lanes that most wouldnt…so while he may not be a sneijder or robben, he is a difference maker and i think real madrid is a talent sinker (even though C Ron is on right now)…
