Rafael Van der Vaart scored another goal but Tottenham Hotspur were held by Everton 1-1 at White Hart Lane. Leighton Baines scored the opener for the visiting Toffees and was eqaulized after just three minutes. Shared points represent a significant set back for Spurs in the league where they could have plowed past Arsenal and into a solid third place position. Instead they slink forward and can be caught if Arsenal even draw with second place Manchester City tomorrow. For Everton, sixth place was possible but ninth is the reality.
