Loïc Rémy and Yoann Gourcuff (pictured) scored goals for France in a 2-0 win over Romania in Group D of Euro 2012 qualifying. The three points at the Stade de France send the French to the top of the group, a statement both of France’s recovery from their early disaster against Belarus and the overall poor level of play in Group D. The win also bumps Albania out of their surprise top position. Romania are currently in fifth place.

Group F:
Israel 1 – Croatia 2
