Didier Drogba (pictured) and Alex scored for Chelsea in a 2-0 win over London rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. The win and three points clearly set the Blues as the top club in the league after a string of victories over lesser foes and a loss away to Manchester City last week. The Gunners remain in the top four but their deficit from first place is now seven points. Arsenal’s failure to win also leaves Manchester City in second place.

  1. That was the best I have seen Arsenal play against a top squad in quite awhile yet they still lost 2-0. In all honesty it should/could have been 4-0 but Arsenal had some easy missed chances as well. I’m glad they didn’t get totally outclassed like last season but as always that “what might have been” feeling lingers. Especially if your three best offensive players and top defender are healthy. But as an Arsenal fan that is to be expected.
