The second day of the Champions League’s Match Day 2 brings a host of fascinating ties from across the continent. The biggest of the week is Werder Bremen’s visit to the San Siro and holders Inter. Both games in Group A finished as 2-2 draws on Match Day 1, so the group is completely open. Back in London, Spurs will host Twente in the hopes of taking the lead in the very difficult group. Rangers, fresh off their big draw away to Manchester United will host Bursaspor at Ibrox in Group C. If the Scottish double winners have any hope of advancing to the knockout round, three points from the Turkish champions. Meanwhile, United have to visit red hot Valencia with injuries mounting. Group C is Valencia’s to lead after they dominated Bursaspor in their first tie. Elsewhere, OL go to Israel to face Hapoel while hapless Schalke host struggling Benfica in Group B. In Group D, Barcelona will be out for revenge against Rubin Kazan while Panathinaikos will try to regroup against a strong København side.
