With mid-week European matches now behind, the Premier League returns for its fifth round of games. Easily the most interesting match-up of the weekend is Liverpool’s visit to Old Trafford against Manchester United, though there is little chance that it will also be the most attractive match-up. That title could go either to Sunderland v. Arsenal or Everton v. Newcastle, both of which should be very intriguing games. Blackpool’s stay in the top four should end with a visit to Chelsea while Birmingham City can move into that hallowed space but face an improving West Bromich Albion away.
