Nigerian Peter Odemwingie has signed with West Bromich Albion as the Baggies try to create more offense in their return to the Premier League. The 29-year old Ukrainian-born attacking midfielder has spent the past five seasons playing and scoring at Lille and Lokomotiv Moscow, tallying 44 goals in 150 games. Odemwingie has also been an active member of the Nigerian national team, even captaining the Super Eagles to the semi-finals of the 2010 African Cup of Nations. While terms of the fee were not disclosed, the midfielder has signed on for two years at the Hawthorns and could feature as early as tomorrow’s match with Sunderland.
