Philippe Senderos will miss most, if not all of the 2010/11 season after rupturing his achilles in training on Tuesday. The new Fulham defender was forced out of the World Cup with an ankle injury earlier in the summer and now has to endure another season without seeing the pitch. Senderos only joined the Cottagers in June after several largely empty seasons at Arsenal and on loan at Milan. The 25-year old Swiss defender had hoped to restart his club career at Craven Cottage, but will have to wait until 2011 to do so.
