A late header from Carlos Puyol sent Spain to the final of the World Cup at the expense of overmatched Germany, 1-0 at Durban Stadium. The Spanish controlled possession for the majority of the game leaving only a precious few chances for the Germans. Toni Kroos had the only serious attempt at Iker Casillas and Spain got the one goal needed to advance one again. The match was a replay of the Euro2008 final in Vienna that was also won by Spain. Now the Spanish get Holland in the final in Johannesburg on Sunday. Germany will face Uruguay in the third place game on Saturday in Cape Town.
