David Moyes earned a major coup when star teenager Jack Rodwell signed a new five-year contract at £30,000-a-week to remain at Everton. The 19-year old midfielder scored in both the Europa League and the Premier League in 2009/10 and is sure to be a mainstay in the starting XI at Goodison Park over the life of his new deal. The Toffees are just outside the second set of European-qualified clubs and will need to have a nice season in 2010/11 to get back to continental play. Keeping Rodwell is a major step in that direction as both Manchester United and Arsenal were keen to sign the youngster.
