Jérôme Boateng (pictured) is not the first name linked with a move to Manchester City and he won’t be the last. But the younger brother of Kevin-Prince Boateng might just be the first to actually put pen to paper and officially join the movement at Eastlands. The 21-year old Haburger SV and German international defender has been coveted in many corners of Europe but it appears that Roberto Mancini will be bringing the youngster up from Germany at the cost of £11m. This is exactly the kind of player City should be gunning for this summer: young, talented and not necessarily worried about the lack of Champions League football.
