Tottenham Hotspur won their second consecutive major game at White Hart Lane, this time defeating leaders Chelsea 2-1. Jermain Defoe (pictured) and Gareth Bale scored first half goals before Frank Lampard scored a consolation for the visitors in the second minute of extra-time. The three points power Spurs back into fourth place, two points above Manchester City who lost today in the derby. The game of the year might come on May 5 when Spurs travel to City to determine the fourth and final Champions League position. For Chelsea, this was a missed opportunity to stay well above United. Now the Blues are just a point ahead of United again and the surety of their title hopes just a week ago are now steeped in doubt once again. The final few games should be very exciting in determining exactly who takes home the silverware and who qualifies for the Champions League.
