More mid-week games are necessary this season in the Premier League than in any season in recent memory. The disparity in games played is finally coming to an end though as five more matches will bring most clubs up to speed. As that happens, point totals on the table will mean much more. Aston Villa and Manchester City have the most to gain with winnable but difficult home games this week and still with two games in hand against most competition. Chelsea will get a chance to go back to second place if they can win against a recently inspired Portsmouth down at Fratton Park while the winner of the West Ham v. Wolves match on Tuesday will have a leg up in their battle to remain in the Premier League.

Wolverhampton @ West Ham – West Ham

  1. Wolverhampton @ West Ham – West Ham

    Wednesday:

    Wednesday:
Sunderland @ Aston Villa – villa
Everton @ Manchester City – draw
    Chelsea @ Portsmouth – chelsea
Birmingham City @ Blackburn – blackburn

  3. Tuesday:
Wolverhampton @ West Ham – Hammers
    Wednesday:
Sunderland @ Aston Villa – Villains
Everton @ Manchester City – Toffees – Everton are on a mission to qualify for Europe.
    Chelsea @ Portsmouth – Chelsea
Birmingham City @ Blackburn – Draw – I don’t think City will lose three in a row but earlier in the year this would have been a win.

In the spirit of March Madness, I feel like a Mid-Major giving one of the top seeds fits with the Mao’s challenge game. I’ve held the lead most of the game but around the five minute mark, you have clawed your way back and taken the lead as I crumble under the pressure.
