Arsenal went back to the top of the table with a 2-0 home victory over West Ham United at the Emirates. Denilson (pictured) and Cesc Fábregas scored for the Gunners at opposite ends of the game to give the home side three points and first place. Both Manchester United and Chelsea will play tomorrow (not against each other) for the opportunity to catch back up with the Gunners. The Blues even have two games in hand. But for now Arsenal is in good shape with a goal differential that is slowly catching up with their rivals in the top three. West Ham are far worse off as they drop down to seventeenth place and sit just three precarious points clear of the drop.
