Two more Wayne Rooney (pictured) goals sent Manchester United back past Chelsea on the top of the table in a 3-0 home victory over Fulham at Old Trafford. Rooney scored the first two goals and Dimitar Berbatov finished off the Cottagers in a game that was supposed to be much closer and more difficult for United. Instead, Fulham remain stuck in tenth place while United surge back to first place. Encouragingly for Fulham, though apparently not very helpful today, was the return from injury of Clint Dempsey.
