The Premier League jumps right back in with a full slate of fixtures for this weekend. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have very winnable games as the Blues host West Ham and Arsenal travel to Hull. Man United will host Fulham on Sunday just four days after United played in the Champions League and three days after Fulham played in the Europa League. Should be a tired lot. That battle for fourth also continues with Spurs (hosting Blackburn), Man City (at Sunderland) and Liverpool (hosting Portsmouth) all facing relatively easy opponents. Should be an interesting weekend.

  1. Saturday:
    Blackburn @ Tottenham – spurs
West Ham @ Chelsea – blues
    Wigan @ Bolton – draw
Everton @ Birmingham City – draw
Wolverhampton @ Burnley – turf moor
Aston Villa @ Stoke City – villa
Arsenal @ Hull City – arsenal

    Sunday:
Fulham @ Manchester United – united
Manchester City @ Sunderland – citeh

    Monday:
    Portsmouth @ Liverpool – liverpool

  2. Saturday:
Blackburn @ Tottenham – Spurs – Spurs have been pretty solid at home and Rovers are the opposite of solid on the road.
West Ham @ Chelsea – Chelsea – Easy one for Chelsea at home.
Wigan @ Bolton – Draw – Just so I don’t have to think about it.
Everton @ Birmingham City – Everton – Donovan’s last match with the Toffees will not be a loss. I think Brum should hit a wall soon and it may start now.
Wolverhampton @ Burnley – Burnley – I’ll give the nod to the home team.
Aston Villa @ Stoke City – Villa – Long balls and long throws. Fun stuff.
Arsenal @ Hull City – Arsenal – Another lower half team that uses force over finesse. Let’s hope there aren’t any broken legs this week. Hull is tough at home and no Jesus for Arsenal but I think the Gunner s have too much firepower for Hull’s terrible defense.
    Sunday:
Fulham @ Manchester United – United – Hoping for a draw but realistically I don’t see MU dropping points.
Manchester City @ Sunderland – City – I’ll continue with my anti-Sunderland trend.
    Monday:
Portsmouth @ Liverpool – Liverpool – Certainly Pompey can’t sweep Liverpool…or can they? Nah.
