A five goal barrage saw Everton easily topple Hull City 5-1 at Goodison Park on Sunday. Mikel Arteta scored a brace and Landon Donovan (pictured) and Jack Rodwell tallied the other two Toffee goals with a Richard Garcia own-goal accounting for the middle of the five. Only Tom Carney’s first half equalizer gave Hull anything worth mentioning as the visitors were unable to secure any points and remain in eighteenth place on goal differential. Everton are now within four points of seventh place Aston Villa, though the latter do have two games in hand.
