Only eight Premier League matches this weekend as Manchester United and Aston Villa’s contests are postponed to allow those two sides to play in the Carling Cup final at Wembley on Sunday. Chelsea will get the chance to move back to four points clear if they can defeat disappointing Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. Of course City can get back into the Champions League hunt with a good showing in London. Elsewhere Tottenham host Everton in a crucial match for both sides. Everton need more points to get into Europe while Spurs are barely holding on to fourth place. And with their fate being decided just the day before, Portsmouth will face Burnley at Turf Moor. The Clarets will have a nice chance to jump out of the drop zone if they can take all three points against a potentially broken and dispirited Pompey side.

  1. Manchester City @ Chelsea – Chelski

    Wolverhampton @ Bolton – Bolton
Wigan @ Birmingham City – BC
    Portsmouth @ Burnley – Burnley
Arsenal @ Stoke City – Arsenal

    Sunday:
    Everton @ Tottenham – spurs
    Blackburn @ Liverpool – Liverpool
    Fulham @ Sunderland – fulham

  2. Saturday:
Manchester City @ Chelsea – Draw – Looking forward to watching this on Sat. Blues could be lacking in defense with Cech and Cole out. Bellamy and Torres are back together and were a solid duo earlier this season.
    Wolverhampton @ Bolton – Bolton – Snoozer
Wigan @ Birmingham City – Birmingham City – I keep waiting for the Blues to hit a wall but I don’t think it will happen this week.
Portsmouth @ Burnley – Burnley – I probably won’t pick Pompey to win or draw again this year…unless they are playing Sunderland.
Arsenal @ Stoke City – Arsenal – Arshavin, Diaby, and Gallas out is not good but at least Fabianski isn’t starting.
    Sunday:
Everton @ Tottenham – Toffees – Everton has been hot like fire but their Europa League performance is a little concerning. Last time Spurs had a virus it knocked them out of the fourth spot and gave the position to the Gunners.
Blackburn @ Liverpool – Liverpool – Tough call. I want to pick a draw but Blackburn stinks on the road.
    Fulham @ Sunderland – Fulham

  3. Saturday:
Manchester City @ Chelsea – sadly i think chelski will grab it (i wouldnt be surprised if the chode lovers get 3 pts though)
    Wolverhampton @ Bolton – draw
Wigan @ Birmingham City – B to the Ham
Portsmouth @ Burnley – burnley, as p’mouth is about to announce their annhiliation.
Arsenal @ Stoke City – gooners, easy

    Sunday:
Everton @ Tottenham – spurs (this is a tough call, bc the blues are playing quite well overall)
Blackburn @ Liverpool – pool (it feels wierd betting against the reds even though they arent performing well…i think they win here though.)
    Fulham @ Sunderland – s’land
