Just two make-up games mid-week as the Premier League is just about even on games played across the table. Each of the four clubs playing this week have played only 24 games whereas the rest of the league has gone for at least 25 and in some cases 26. Manchester City will get the chance to move into fourth place if they take even a point from Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium. Bolton and Wigan are both in trouble but the Trotters need the points more at this point.

    Manchester City @ Stoke City – Draw. I don’t know what to make of Man City. One week they can beat anyone and another week they look like crap. I think the new manager smell has worn off and they are back to earlier form.

  2. There have been a few though who have said Hughes was a disaster. So who knows. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised to see a team of all-stars struggle to figure out how to play together. Each of their component parts are fantastic but they’re still learning who does what. With Adebayor back though, that really helps. Plus Tevez is probably the best player in the league right now, apart from Rooney.
