Another short week in this World Cup year brings the Premier League back into action mid-week. Both Chelsea and Manchester United will face tough tests this round as they continue to increase the distance between themselves and the rest of the Premier League. Chelsea will travel to Everton and United to Villa. Arsenal will hope the top two lose but face a stiff test with Liverpool coming to the Emirates. Elswhere, Manchester City and Tottenham will hope to respond from poor performances with points against lower-tier clubs. And Birmingham City can get that much closer to a top-seven finish if they have their way with West Ham at Upton Park.

  1. Bolton @ Manchester City – draw
    Sunderland @ Portsmouth – draw
Stoke City @ Wigan – Stoke
    Burnley @ Fulham – Fulham

    Wednesday:
    Liverpool @ Arsenal – Liverpool
Manchester United @ Aston Villa – United

    Chelsea @ Everton – Chelski
Hull City @ Blackburn – blackburn

  2. Tuesday:
Bolton @ Manchester City – Man City – Bolton just stinks
Sunderland @ Portsmouth – Draw – Two teams in about as bad a form as humanly possible. I hope this isn’t the early ESPN 2 match.
Stoke City @ Wigan – Wigan – I’ll just go with the home side on the next two.
    Burnley @ Fulham – Fulham
    Wednesday:
Liverpool @ Arsenal – Arsenal – Last of the Murderer’s Row portion of the schedule. If the Gunners finish with one point through this stretch they should hang their heads in shame for dismissing the FA and Carling Cups. If they get the maximum here, the rest of the schedule is cake.
Manchester United @ Aston Villa – You can’t score on the Villans so I will pick a draw.
Birmingham City @ West Ham – Birmingham
Tottenham @ Wolverhampton – Spurs – Wolves are having a rough go and didn’t get any help during the transfer window.
Chelsea @ Everton – Draw – Just wishful thinking. Especially after Everton got beat against a team with ten men last week. I’m just hoping Chelsea comes out cocky after thrashing Arsenal.
Hull City @ Blackburn – Hull City – Stephen Hunt with a brace. (I just wanted to say brace).

  3. tuesday:

    Birmingham City @ West Ham – b’ham
    Tottenham @ Wolverhampton – spurs
    Chelsea @ Everton – chelsea
Hull City @ Blackburn – rovers

I know this is a day late, but i havent seen any results yet.

  4. HAHA, I thought it was Wednesday…When you lose your job, they all run together. A couple of weeks ago, my mom said ‘Thursday’ to herself for some reason and I said, “It’s Thursday!? I thought it was Wednesday!’ She then looked at me and said, ‘Today is Tuesday…’
